subtraction & addition memorizer
Students love the way Arthur Bornstein’s dynamic visual technique creates instant recall for each lower level and higher level fact.
Helps the student “remember” the right answer and increase their confidence in learning these important math fundamentals.
How the method works:
Example: Nine looks like a lollipop, seven has the shape of a door, two sounds like shoe. Now, picture the lollipop on top of the door with the shoe stuck at the bottom of the door. 9 – 7 = 2. On one flashcard side is the illustration of the pictures and on the other side is the subtraction operation above the answer as its visual: 9 – 7 = shoe. Can also be used for learning addition facts: 7 + 2 = 9, 2 + 7 = 9.
What’s included:
Each Subtraction/Addition Memorizer Kit includes 110 large 8.5 x 11 colorfully illustrated flashcards with the association on the back, study guide, and teacher/student instructional CD.
